Jalan Raya Timur-Barat (East-West Highway) is the important link to East Coast State especially Kelantan and Terengganu with West Coast in the North of Penisula. Jalan Raya Timur-Barat which the way from Gerik, Perak to Jeli, Kelantan definitely excited with the mountains and thick forest along 110 kilometers (km), which is rarely found in other areas. Lined with dozens of mountain peaks form a diverse and exciting like sand dunes in the desert mesmerizing eyes.

About 80 km away from Gerik, users will go through the Hentian Puncak Banjaran Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Mountains Peak Stop ) in Hulu Perak district that serves mountain views as it is situated in the most top of the dozens of mountains in the vicinity. At about 2,100 meters above sea level, the area has become increasingly popular stop area for road users at the heart of the main liaison between the state on the east coast with the west, especially the northern peninsula. Besides for recovering from tiredness, foods and drinks, and much more, where you cannot easily get it from other place, a breath of fresh air the top of the range.

In history, Hentian Puncak Banjaran Titiwangsa was a black area since it became the center of operations for the communists because of its location between Malaysia and Southern Thailand. However, now, it is totally changes with quite spectacular getaway and beautiful views. Variety of flora and fauna can be seen at its own habitat.
