Pantai Teluk Ketapang, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu - 16 Feb 2016

Pantai Teluk Ketapang exactly situated in Kuala Nerus (new district, formerly was a part of Kuala Terengganu), almost few minutes driving from Kuala Terengganu International Airport.

I was back to hometown for a week, spent my time away from my career life and back to my childhood nature. Surely, I am kampung lady where my village surrounded by swamps and hills, but my state is one of the best location in East Coast Malaysia which may offer you a great scenery of beaches.

Sometimes, go to the beach is really great things to do. Enjoy the breeze and racing with waves. Hehehe, spectacular...

This beach (Pantai Teluk Ketapang) is very popular to locals and of course outsiders. A wide sandy beach facing South China Sea, give you place to fly your kites or even Wau Bulan. Scenery here was amazing with lots of Ru trees along the road reduced the heat from sunlight..

Ru Tree along the road sides.
Pantai Teluk Ketapang is a great place for family activities. A palyground and local snack foods such like keropok lekor, fish crackers, ikan celup tepung (ICT), fried seafood with crunchy flour can be found easily here.

You can choose either you wanna go to restaurant or food court. Price? I am not sure. I was rushing for meeting someone here. So, I had no time to taste it.

But believe me, Terengganu especially Kuala Terengganu and Kuala Nerus are the heaven for fresh seafood cuisines. If you come here for travelling, you should try it without any doubts.

Nearby before you reach the beach, you will find out few keropok lekor  stalls or bigger production, do not forget to try since, it is really fresh from kitchen. The famous one is Keropok lekor Tok Beng, it is advisable to have a stop there, try variety of fish product from crackers until cheese filling fillet, dine in or take way, or if you wish to make a stock, you can get it there at affordable price.

My little brother....

A sandy beach..

During this visit, heavy wind keep flowing and caused the heavy wave beat the coast line. Extra careful, for your safety, avoid the wave.

The current may suck you into water. And nobody will able to help you.

A sampan... always fisherman good friends for live.

A good place to enjoy local cuisines. Many shop lots and of course they offered you variety of cuisines.

Free to park and risk on your own. This area a bit crowded on weekends and also public holidays.

Playgrounds at free of charge.
